This task is to provide support for foreign mobility of the best Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (WUST) doctoral students from Poland and abroad by financing foreign research trips (outgoing research visits) of our doctoral students at the world-class foreign academic and research institutions in OECD countries. The main goal of this task is to increase foreign mobility of WUST doctoral students and establish a long term collaboration with leading foreign academic and research institution in the areas and topics complementary to those of the WUST researchers.

Due to our experience and based on information from our doctoral students, we defined 2 types of research trips: 1-month, and 3-month. Moreover, the two proposed types (lengths) of visits follow from the fact that our Doctoral School covers 12 various disciplines of science with different types of conducted research (theoretical and experimental). We plan to make 5 open calls (competitions) for research trips among our doctoral students twice a year: 05/2021, 11/2021, 05/2022, 11/2022, 05/2023 offering three 1-month visits and three 3-month visits, which makes in total 30 internships during the whole project.
