Patryk Falat – a doctoral student in the discipline of Chemical Sciences – will deliver a seminar „Studies on Vis-to-UV up-conversion emission enhancement of lanthanide-doped nanoparticles and microcrystals functionalized with organic dye molecules” presenting the results of the InterDocSchool 3-month research stay at Utrecht University (the Netherlands), under supervision of Prof. Andries Meijerink. The seminar will be held at 9.30-10.00 on December 19th, 2023 on Zoom platform (link available for all interested upon request). The main research objective of the stay was the investigation of the Vis-to-UV up-conversion emission enhancement of lanthanide-doped NaYF4 and LiYF4 nanoparticles and microcrystals via organic dye molecules functionalization.
