Task “New courses at WUST Doctoral School” is dedicated to improving the quality of education in WUST Doctoral School. In particular, it is planned to develop new 3 courses in English (30 hours each course) for doctoral students of our Doctoral School. A competition jury selected from the Doctoral School Board will assess the submitted proposals taking into account subject of the developed course, interdisciplinary character, connection with research conducted with international cooperation, and research conducted as part of cooperation with industry. Each WUST researcher will have the opportunity to propose a new course.
The Doctoral School will announce one call (competition) for proposals in mid of 2021 year. The selected researchers will prepare a course card in English containing, among others, the thematic scope, learning outcomes and information how to verify them (in accordance with the adopted card templates) and teaching materials (such as multimedia presentations, outlines and additional teaching materials). Materials for the course should be prepared in such a way that it can be conducted in a traditional, remote or hybrid (partly remote, partly traditional) form. Preferred forms of new courses are lectures and seminars. The offer of new courses will be presented to doctoral students of the Doctoral School on the School's website.
