Jakub Wojciechowski – a doctoral student in biomedical engineering – will deliver a seminar „Interaction patterns of bacterial functional amyloids with human disease related proteins” presenting the results of the InterDocSchool 3-month research stay at Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Science, Germany, under supervision of Dr Johannes Soeding. The seminar will be held at 11:15 on 17.11.2022 in room 118a (II floor) D1. The main research objective of the research visit was to understand molecular mechanisms of how now functional amyloids produced by bacteria inhabiting human guts might affect the development of human neurodegenerative diseases
