Mateusz Dymek  – a doctoral student in mechanical engineering  – will deliver a seminar „Cork as an energy absorbing material in American Football” presenting the results of the InterDocSchool 3-month research stay at Virginia University, Center for Applied Biomechanics under supervision of Prof. Matthew B. Panzer. The seminar will be held at 13:00-13:30 on 26.07.2023 in room 300, B5. The main research objective of the stay was linear impactor experiments on American Football helmets with different configurations of additional cork protection layer.
