Natalia Szemiot-Jankowska - a doctoral student in civil engineering, geodesy and transport – will deliver a seminar "The effect of salts on the effectiveness of secondary anti-damp insulation by chemical injection" presenting the results of the InterDocSchool 3-month research stay at Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Boston, USA) under the supervision of prof. Admit Masic. The seminar will be held at 7:30 – 8:00 on January 2nd, 2024 on the Zoom platform (link available for all interested upon request). The main research objective of the research visit was chemical analysis of the interphase between the injection material and the brick and the determination of chemical and crystallographic composition of the bricks.
