Natalia Tyszkiewicz – a doctoral student in chemical science – will deliver a seminar „Metagenomic analysis of microbial consortia derived from microbial fuel cells” presenting the results of the InterDocSchool 1-month research internship at University of Tartu in Estonia under supervision of prof. Jaak Truu. The seminar will be held at 14:00 on 24.03.2023 in zoom platform (link available for all interested upon request). The main objective of this proposal was to to carry out shotgun metagenomic analysis of various microbial communities from contaminated sites that are capable of degrading petroleum compounds in bioelectrochemical systems.
