Olga Kaczmarczyk will deliver a seminar entitled “Liquid-cell TEM of liquid crystals and their nanocomposites – the summary of the research trip to MIT” presenting the results of the InterDocSchool 3-month research stay at Department of Materials Science and Engineering of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA) under the supervision of prof. Frances M. Ross. The seminar will be held on 03.04.2023 at 9.00 in room 213/A2. The main research objective of the research visit was to improve the methods of liquid-cell transmission electron microscopy and perform in-situ observations of liquid crystals and their nanocomposites in vacuum-free conditions using advanced microscopic techniques.
